Luqis Enterprises’ The Cakir Nasal Chisel 90 Degree is a specialized rhinoplasty instrument designed for controlled nasal bone shaping, ostectomy, and bone reduction. Developed around the surgical techniques of Dr. Barış Çakır, the 90-degree angled working end allows the surgeon to apply the chisel surface directly to the nasal bone for controlled bone thinning and removal. The commonly documented version measures approximately 18 cm overall and features a sharp 90-degree angled tip. A 5 mm version is specifically described in rhinoplasty literature for controlled radix reduction and lateral/transverse ostectomy. The Cakir chisel can be used during rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty procedures where precise reduction and reshaping of the nasal bones are required.
