It features a slender shaft with a 90° angled working end, providing controlled access to narrow and difficult-to-reach surgical areas. Adson patterns are commonly available with sharp or blunt hook tips depending on the surgical requirement. The standard pattern commonly measures 8″ (20 cm) in overall length, with configurations including approximately 3 mm or 5 mm working ends.
