Luqis Enterprises’ Braithwaite Skin Graft Knife is a precision surgical instrument designed for harvesting split-thickness skin grafts from donor sites during reconstructive and skin grafting procedures. The instrument features a grooved roller bar and adjustable end mechanisms that allow the surgeon to control the thickness of the skin graft. The graft thickness is adjusted by rotating the adjuster nuts at both ends of the knife, moving the roller bar up or down in relation to the blade. The Braithwaite pattern commonly uses a replaceable 158 mm skin graft blade and is available in right-handed and left-handed configurations. Standard versions commonly measure approximately 30.5 cm (12″) in length.
