Its multiple sharp prongs provide secure tissue engagement, helping maintain effective traction and improved surgical exposure. A commonly listed configuration measures approximately 17.5–18 cm (7–7¼ inches) in overall length, with 7 sharp offset prongs and a 70 mm wide blade. Front-grip and reverse-grip versions are available depending on surgical preference. Larger configurations are also available in other patterns.
