Luqis Enterprises’ The Obwegeser Nasal Septum Osteotome – Slightly Curved is a specialized ENT and rhinoplasty instrument designed for controlled division, cutting, and reshaping of the nasal septum. Its slightly curved shaft facilitates access to the deep nasal cavity, while the guarded forked working end helps engage the septum during osteotomy. The commonly documented configuration measures approximately 18.5 cm (7¼ inches) overall and is available with 4 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm working-end widths. Some versions also include graduated depth markings along the shaft for controlled insertion. The working end features a U-shaped/forked profile with atraumatic olive-shaped tips, designed to engage both sides of the septum while helping protect adjacent soft tissue.
