Luqis Enterprises’ Schnidt-Sawtell Tonsil Forceps is a specialized surgical instrument designed for secure grasping of tonsils and clamping of blood vessels during tonsillectomy and other ENT surgical procedures. It features fine serrated curved jaws, available in Boettcher light-curve and Sawtell full-curve designs, allowing surgeons to select the appropriate curvature for surgical access and visibility. The standard overall length is 18 cm, with many standard patterns also listed at approximately 19 cm (7½”).The instrument is available with closed ring handles or one open ring handle, with the open-ring configuration providing increased maneuverability in restricted surgical areas. Its precision design and ratchet locking mechanism support controlled hemostasis and reliable tissue handling.
