Its curved working end is intended for enlarging bony openings, including the inferior meatus, and for shaping and refining the maxillary sinus or antrum. The instrument is available in two overall length options, 19 cm and 20 cm, with working tips measuring 3 mm to 5 mm in length. It is offered with either a trocar or blunt tip to accommodate different procedural requirements. Its serrated or coarse working surface supports controlled bone rasping and tissue removal. Crafted from premium German surgical-grade stainless steel, the Wiener Antrum Rasp offers durability and corrosion resistance. It is reusable and autoclavable when processed according to validated cleaning and sterilization instructions.
